Graphic design really IS my passion…. 🎨🖌️💀💉🎨🖌️💀💉🎨🖌️💀💉🎨🖌️💀💉🎨 Just some riso posters i’ve been making as of late, the first and last are the front & back covers of my zine for PZF. Second is just a fun experiment from the new QOTSA song and video. Third didn’t fit and I was too last to make it work lol, I watched the carbuncle episode of black jack last night and whipped that little poster together. 🎨🖌️💀💉🎨🖌️💀💉🎨🖌️💀💉🎨🖌️💀💉🎨 #zine #qotsa #riso #graphicdesign #blackjack

“You were a fine knight, Don Quixote.” RESIDENT EVIL 4 🧟‍♂️ ⛱️💉🩸🪱⛱️💉🩸🪱⛱️💉🩸🪱⛱️💉🩸🪱⛱️ Very quick + messy Luis Serra painting. I made this ~2.5 hrs because I was inspired. Struck while the iron was hot. Something I’ve done in irl and digital paintings of mine since sophomore year of high school was doing an orange circle glow for a cigarette as a light source. I like using that as a focal point. Like yeah this is a portrait but I think I want all the other stuff to be more in focus rather than his face. I wanted it to be representative of the transitiveness of his character. ⛱️💉🩸🪱⛱️💉🩸🪱⛱️💉🩸🪱⛱️💉🩸🪱⛱️ #residentevil #explore #luisserra #discoelysium #art

“September 30, 1998, it’s a day I’d never forget… The cop inside me died that day.” 🧟‍♂️🩸⛱️💉🧟‍♂️🩸⛱️💉🧟‍♂️🩸⛱️💉🧟‍♂️🩸⛱️💉🧟‍♂️ Finished this riso postcard in time for Resident Evil/Raccoon City day and hopping on the fanart trend since the movie came out a week or so ago! I wanted to get this in since I’ve been doing this Mid-century Modern risograph series of works since the beginning of August. In the sketch I have all the survivors from Raccoon City in a postcard (Bryan from the Resident Evil movie, Leon & Claire from RE2, and Jill & Carlos from RE3). There’s other story elements like the nuke, the helicopters from the film, and mentions of Umbrella. I always do a four color risograph digital design which I then texture to look like a real riso, however these are all potential risographs that can be made in real life— it’s compatible in that sense. Process wise is simple: sketch, then only four multiply layers for black and my other three print colors which will blend like real inks. It’s a color theory simulation! 🧟‍♂️🩸⛱️💉🧟‍♂️🩸⛱️💉🧟‍♂️🩸⛱️💉🧟‍♂️🩸⛱️💉🧟‍♂️ #art #explore #leonkennedy #residentevil #WIP

Howdy, it’s me 🤠 🤠⚛️🐄💅🤠⚛️🐄💅🤠⚛️🐄💅🤠⚛️🐄💅🤠 Had to do three different self portraits of myself— one just lineart realism style, one a full realistic underpainting, and then one in our own style that we can do whatever for. This is the one where I had fun. This is based on a photo at the end so the proportions are real, my legs and torso and all really just are that short. I’m just really short this is irl accurate 😭🧍Just a tiny broad who loves cowboy stuff. I don’t talk about that a lot but it’s the theme of my bedroom. My hat is an antique real leather hat from an antique store. Other art, one is a self portrait from early august when I was still a blonde. Then the cartoon was for the daily collegian and I put myself in it because yolo. 🤠⚛️🐄💅🤠⚛️🐄💅🤠⚛️🐄💅🤠⚛️🐄💅🤠 #sova #pennstate #selfportrait #riso #cowgirl

Nokori as the Operation game guy + a couple sketches of him from different aus. 🩻🩺🧟‍♂️💉🩻🩺🧟‍♂️💉🩻🩺🧟‍♂️💉🩻🩺🧟‍♂️💉🩻 This is my oc but if he was the guy from the game Operation. There isn’t much else to say. I might archive and repost this with edits at some point but idk. 🤷‍♀️ 🩻🩺🧟‍♂️💉🩻🩺🧟‍♂️💉🩻🩺🧟‍♂️💉🩻🩺🧟‍♂️💉🩻 #oc #originalcharacter #riso #boardgame #explore

Been learning i’ve got free will lately. 🩸💉🧺🎣🩸💉🧺🎣🩸💉🧺🎣🩸💉🧺🎣🩸 My roommate and I are showing each other our favorite thriller shows. Monster and Hannibal have SO much in common. Don’t spoil any of Hannibal to me. It’s made me delusional like i’m waiting for a murder case to bring Will Graham and Dr. Lecter to Germany and they meet Tenma and hunt after Johan likeeeee when does that happen?!?! I have some additional doodles, a short little sketch animation of the main monster characters, johan, and a crop of the monhann comic i made. But yeah blonde x dark hair vibe. 🩸💉🧺🎣🩸💉🧺🎣🩸💉🧺🎣🩸💉🧺🎣🩸 #hannibal #hannigram #monster #naokiurasawa #art

I went to court. ❄️💸🚔❄️💸🚔❄️💸🚔❄️💸🚔❄️💸🚔❄️💸 This is probably one of the coolest opportunities I’ve had ever thanks to The Daily Collegian, see their account for the post with captions describing in detail what I was drawing. This was an incredibly high profile case that I got to be apart of, so my resume thanks me lol. The sketches of Lars Zeepvat i like a lot + the Tom Robinson sketches and obviously my cartoon which i made related to the case last week. Almost all sketches were done in graphite and done in ~5 minutes give or take. A lot less refined than my other work obviously, but that’s just how figure sketching goes. I was sat behind the prosecution so my perspective of Agostino was barely 3/4ths from behind so not that great... but whatever. Slide 7 (i think) shows sketches of an unlabeled man, that’s Ryan Matson. ❄️💸🚔❄️💸🚔❄️💸🚔❄️💸🚔❄️💸🚔❄️💸 #pennstate #art #frat #journalism #courtroom

Two artists, one base! Makuja collab with @pichichu_studio (on twitter, bluesky, and tumblr!) 💕💴💉🩸🤳💕💴💉🩸🤳💕💴💉🩸🤳💕💴 I’ve kinda became a microcelebrity on twitter and tumblr for my midcentury modern riso art, especially in the Tezuka Star System community. So now that I’ve gained some popularity, some of my favorite creators are liking my work and it’s so inspiring. I was shocked when I reached out to Pichichu that they actually responded and was SO sweet to work with 🥺 literally filled my bucket just working on this collab. I don’t have like a central favorite ship for Black Jack, but Makuja has been growing on me— which is wild because I usually don’t like toxic yaoi lol. But Makube’s story in the context of BJ’s is so interesting to me, childhood friends to enemies (kind of?) Regardless, I had a ton of fun seeing this come together with our mix of art styles and coloring work 🥺 💕💴💉🩸🤳💕💴💉🩸🤳💕💴💉🩸🤳💕💴 #makuberokuro #riso #blackjack #2artists1base #explore

“It was a shame, because Johan was such a wonderful name.” RISOGRAPH DESIGN BASED OFF OF NAOKI URASAWA’S MONSTER swipe to see (almost) all the references/characters and close ups of the textures! 🔪🩸💉🇩🇪🇨🇿 🔪🩸💉🇩🇪🇨🇿🔪🩸💉🇩🇪🇨🇿🔪🩸 My third mid-century modern risograph, this time it’s for Monster! I’ve been meaning to make a Monster fanart I like and I’ve finally made one haha! Tenma is shockingly difficult to draw, I added his hair strand sticking above his head instead of in his face because I didn’t have space for it to get in the way of his features but I thought that was fun change. Some of the references that weren’t “explained” (trying not to super spoil) were the news poster about the murder that started it all for Tenma, the candy, Tenma’s engagement ring to Eva, and Lunge is holding Tenma’s tie from the Heidelberg crime scene— he’s also doing his typing hand tick. Also the title font I had to hand draw because it’s the font that’s in the “Twister” game title, which the subtitle is “the game that ties you up in knots!” so I reimagined that too. Beneath Tenma it says “wanted” if that’s hard to read. I really like how Johan’s silhouette looks in the corner and how the arrow kinda unites the design to the title, keeping that curve going. But yeah, this was a ton of fun and will make a great print! 🔪🩸💉🇩🇪🇨🇿 🔪🩸💉🇩🇪🇨🇿🔪🩸💉🇩🇪🇨🇿🔪🩸 #kenzotenma #monster #johanliebert #manga #explore

The Mid-century Modern Life of the World’s Greatest Surgeon and His Homemade Former Parasite Daughter. Did you find all the easter eggs? ⚛️✨💉🩸⚛️✨💉🩸⚛️✨💉🩸⚛️✨💉🩸 This is the second in my Atomic Age/UPA/50s/Midcentury Modern/Whatever you want to call it style risograph series. I plan on making a couple more fanart in this style to sell on a future online store. Just for consistency. I had so much fun doing this! It’s five colors, I was shooting for only four but I really just love how pure black looks over mixed black— I can’t help it! I’m getting excited for the school year when I can use Penn State’s risograph machines! But anyway, I’m really happy my art is starting to get some attention on Twitter with the Black Jack international fanbase, a lot of my favorite artists have followed me over there because of my last drawing! It’s so nice knowing they’ve seen it, I wish I could commission some of them but the language barrier is pretty tough. Hoping for the best though! ⚛️✨💉🩸⚛️✨💉🩸⚛️✨💉🩸⚛️✨💉🩸 #blackjack #dororo #astroboy #riso #ブラックジャック

“Doctor say he’s comin’, but you better pay in cash!” 💰💵👮‍♂️💰💵👮‍♂️💰💵👮‍♂️💰💵👮‍♂️💰💵👮‍♂️💰 Soft launching some riso graphics, the sketch in the fourth slide will be a real proper riso artwork soon, this was the test before i work on that. So yeah, this was just a style exploration with riso texture and properties. Atomic age style is just fun to play with because that’s lowkenuinely when risography popped off and a bit too early for Black Jack specifically but yk Tezuka started around then so like… this is kinda accurate (not). Anyway I’m also trying to get myself more comfortable with posting simpler artworks. In my riso era. 💰💵👮‍♂️💰💵👮‍♂️💰💵👮‍♂️💰💵👮‍♂️💰💵👮‍♂️💰 #blackjack #risograph #50s #osamutezuka #explore
